years in production, this documentary recounts Union General
David Hunter's raid through Virginia. Beginning at the
Battle of Piedmont, Hunter raided Staunton, Lexington, Buchanan,
Peaks of Otter, Liberty (Bedford), and New London. He
was defeated by Jubal Early at the Battle of Lynchburg, June
17-18, 1864, effectively ending his raid. This dramatic video
is told primarily through first person accounts by the soldiers
and civilians who lived it.
