Historic Sandusky, in partnership with the University of Lynchburg, is dedicated to providing educational opportunities and career development for students and the public by preserving and interpreting the history of the Civil War, slavery, and 19th-century American life.
History Bowl
Hosted by Historic Sandusky the Lynchburg History Bowl is held annually for local middle school students. The History Bowl is sponsored by Dodson Pest Controll, and organized by Sandusky Board Member and Lynchburg City Public Schools Board Member Mrs. Marie Waller.

The History Bowl is presented as a History Game show with Director Greg Starbuck as the host and Mrs. Marie Waller as his assistant. Parents, family, and teachers are encouraged to come out and support student contestants.
